the hummus is back!

Every Thursday, the farmers market gives us a little nudge in a new direction and this week it was no different with white turnips from Sage Hill Farms. We couldn't stop thinking about them, so we figured out a way to include the entire vegetable into our new dip: the greens became a silky hummus, the roots spent time in the smoker until they were tender and deeply flavorful, and before long they had become the newest addition to our menu.

This is why our menu keeps evolving. We don't start with a recipe. We start with what the season is giving us, with the farmers who grow it, and with the excitement of figuring out how to turn beautiful ingredients into something you'll want to come back for.

Our new Market Mediterranean Dip is on the menu now, and it may be my favorite reminder yet that the most memorable dishes begin with the simplest ingredients and ancuent methods. We added some marinated olives and of course, warm allmine pizza bread.

Innovation doesn't always mean exotic ingredients that you cannot pronounce, it often means looking at familiar ones with fresh eyes.

For a long time, we didn't have a vegan menu because we hadn't found the right ingredients. We knew that if we were going to offer dairy-free cheeses and other plant-based products, they had to meet the same standards as everything else we bring into our kitchen. Great ingredients first. Labels second.

That search led us to Scratch House in San Diego, where we found handcrafted, cultured plant-based cheeses that made us stop and rethink what was possible.

From there, the menu came together naturally. We looked at the ingredients we already love working with, added a few new ones, and created dishes that feel familiar, satisfying, and unmistakably allmine. Every item earned its place on the menu because it tastes great, not because it fills a category.

Yes, it's a vegan menu. It's also for anyone who is dairy-free, anyone with friends or family who eat differently, and anyone who simply enjoys good food made with thoughtful ingredients. Around our table, everyone deserves to have something they're excited to order.

We can't wait for you to try it.

food that hugs you back.
